Scott Kelliher dropped out of the league and we replaced him with Dave Nassiff.
We made our first significant change to the Auction format since 1999. We eliminated the 3-year bidding system and went back to a hybrid format of what we had originally instituted in 1998 - bidding on 1 year contracts. At mid-season, owners have the choice to keep these players for 1 or 2 additional seasons at the same salary. Front-loaded salary structures are allowed, but back-loaded contract structures were banned.
Top 5 Auction Prices:

The Grid Iron franchise won their second Fantasy Football Championship in 2009 after winning the division with their 10-4 record. Grid Iron was the highest scoring franchise in the league. averaging 109.1 pts per game. Grid Iron beat Baby Boom (wild card) by a large margin to capture the league title.
Paul entered the 2009 season with some solid starters - Philip Rivers, Ray Rice, Randy Moss, and eventually Jamaal Charles. A pre-season trade of Darren Sproles and Ted Ginn for Joe Flacco really started the auction in motion for the Grid Iron. They fortified their lineup with the crown jewel, Maurice Jones-Drew. Mid-season deals for Marshawn Lynch, Fred Jackson, Roddy White, and the New Orleans Defense helped lead the Grid Iron to be the highest scoring team in the league.
This was Paul's second Fantasy Football title and 7th Scandalous League title.
