The Baby Boom franchise won their second Fantasy Football Championship in 2008 after winning the division with their 9-5 record. Baby Boom was able to beat the North Quincy Posse, who were the favorites to win the title since the pre-season.
Most of the Baby Boom's starting lineup was picked up during the 2008 Auction. Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, Thomas Jones, Chad Ocho Cinco, and Bernard Berrian were all grabbed this year. Holdovers from the 2007 season included Greg Jennings, Jamal Lewis, and the Chicago Defense/Special Teams. Brian also made a couple of astute pickups which lead to a few wins - Le'Ron McClain and the Carolina D/ST. Brian's key trade for Matt Cassel and Mewelde Moore may have put him over the top, though. Brian was able to finish the season on an 8 game winning streak after opening the season with a 3-5 record.
This was Brian's second Fantasy Football title and 4th Scandalous League title. It's the first time that an owner has won multiple titles in each sport.
